I know i know , another long awaited blog updates.

I always been reading on the diet article and i would say HEALTHY Diet article ,whether i act out whatever it is stated in the article is another matter. oops! haha. I felt i should share to you guys about this articles about which i read it somewhere . haha . i'm sure some food you see in the list will shock you! hahaha.

1. Diet Soda
No soda of any kind is good for you, diet or not. Diet sodas create more insulin in your body which means more sugar. Diet soda also inhibits the hormone leptin which regulates your metabolism and appetite so you want to make sure you order your meals with water! That also helps you drink the correct amount of water per day.

2. Pretzels
Yes, pretzels. I know most people think that these are so much better for you than potato chips but they are made with enriched white flour which loaded with carbohydrates which as we all know we need to avoid as much as possible.

3. Fruit Juices
Having a refreshing glass of orange juice in the morning is a great start to the day right? Actually you are probably starting your day out horribly. Fruit juices have so much sugar in them and most of them are not actually fruit juices. Some only contain 5% natural fruit juice.Eat your fruits rather than drink the juice. (Citrus fruits contain a substance called D-Limonene which has been shown to promote the detoxification of estrogen.)

4. Complete Salad Kits
Most of these kits seem great for those who are too busy to cut up all the vegetables we like in a salad, however, most of the dressings can add on hundreds of calories and more fat than you want in a day. The light varieties are better.

5. Reduced-Fat Peanut Butter
Like a lot of the girls in the office, I also love my peanut butter. The reduced-fat variety seems like a great idea but the fact that what they remove is replaced with fillers and there is no calorie reduction with the fillers. Also the fat that is removed is the kind that is actually good for you. Yes, there is some good fat! If you just use a little less of the regular kind you’ll be a lot better off.

6. Poultry Hot Dogs
You would think hot dogs made with turkey or chicken would be so much better than the beef or pork dogs… WRONG! All hot dogs include skin and fat so you are not receiving any benefit from eating poultry dogs. If you are really looking for the better dog go for the low-fat or fat-free dogs, these may be a better alternative for your cookouts.

7. Cereal Bars
You can find a lot of cereal bars that are healthy, low-fat and are not loaded with calories, but you have to look. Most of the cereal bars at the grocery store are high in sugar and saturated fat. Make sure to read the labels for low fat, sugar and calorie content before you start your morning with an addition to your belly!

8. Frozen Yogurt
Most people hear the word yogurt and ask for seconds thinking that since it is yogurt it has to be good for you… WRONG! Most frozen yogurts have a lot of added sugar which means you're licking up extra calories. If you look for the low-fat frozen yogurt and go sparingly you can treat yourself every now and again.

9. Rice Cakes
So many people in my office say what a great filler-upper rice cakes are. Since they are low in fat you would think this would be a great thing to have. However, rice cakes can cause your blood sugar to spike and that can end up having your body store unwanted fat by slowing down the ability to burn it. Not only that but most people choose the flavored rice cakes which are loaded with sodium.

10. Granola
All those wonderful healthy things added together have to be good for you right? Well actually granola contains about 350 calories and 12 grams of fat per 3/4 cup. With all the sugar in it you can see how fattening it really is. Nowaday you can get the new low-fat or low-sugar granola that is not quite as bad to snack on.

I know I know , no updates right? Thought of moving my blog to wordpress but well , i lazy to do that! haha.

Well I started school which is not something I look forward.
Sometimes i wish i could do something i like. Perhaps i got to treasure whatever i have now. ( Oh-so-brief this section)

Met all kinds of friends (all kinds of guys i mean) , some school mates and some old friends ! it takes up part of your time to hangout with them , but well , its worth the investment, it is for the Great Commission sake!

Watching and reading the latest news of Sichuan Earthquake,

i saw disaster relief team are exhausted , emotional exhausted.

Many died , out of the many , majority are children.

Children , many dreams , vision and futures are CRUSHED by one disaster.

They still have a long road to go, till death , the child is still clutching a pen, holding on to their bright future ahead.

parents who adopted one-child policy , become childless.

The pain on the parents face , unbearable.

i began to lay my hands on the pictures i saw in the news.

Dear God,

May your mercy and grace abound in the land of China. Every single aids and relief , i pray will reach to every single chinese there. i pray for double portion of strength on the disaster relief team , and courage , not to give up in the search for victim under the rumbles. i pray for comfort of those who lost their family members.

Amen.

Sorry guys for a long awaited post. Let me see when i last written...

OMG , Since last November 8!!! which is nearly 6 months!

November 8 2007 , someone turns "neetneves".

HA, enough of emo-ing at one corner.

After reading a post of my friend's blog , it trigger me to blog again. I have lost my motivation to blog for unknown reason , Blogger R&D is still researching for vaccine to revive a dry-up a.k.a lost-motivation-to-blog blogger and i need the vaccine badly *cough cough* (what i just wrote is crap).

I really don't like to blog about things like "today i do blah blah and the other day blah blah." No offences to those who blog that way .

Anyway, My dear friends, i am doing very fine . Just that i have been busy with my university life , not busy with love life! haha , disappointed?

Friends around me , getting attached one by one , times that spend together as friends is obviously lesser, travelling becomes more lonely because no more kaki-s. Nights are getting quieter as you have no one to talk to on the phone for long. (emo-ing)

"Ah Li arh , got boyfriend anot ar? " , its like i hear this every month from my mum, better than those who hear it everyday. hahahah!

I have friends who ALREADY married and have CHILDREN.And they are my age , reason why? Typical teenage problem , with counselling helplines provided , things remains unsolve. But i prayed their individual husband will take care of them with all their life man!

Will blog more next time. I am still looking for a temporary job which i can work until 30 June , got lobang , PLEASE call me. thank you!

Few days ago , i went out with two pretty ladies from strikeforce at town area to accomplish some mission (hee hee , NOT SHOPPING). we passed by this BIG tentage , outside wrote OMEGA , i think is some super "high class" watch event. Lo and behold i saw this BIG word outside the tentage:

i have not been blogging for the past 6 months!!! that's freaking long! well, i was too busy with one event after another , until i have no time or too tired to blog.(or rather no motivation.)

Month of May:
i worked at City Development Limited as a Temp admin job with a pathetic salary. i ended the contract on mid.

Apart from the pathetic job, 23rd may is my Poly Graduation Day~
suffered and scrape through the tough 3 years in TP though is a stressful experience , i made alot alot of friends and enjoyed myself in this 3 years at the same time.This is my diploma certificate. All thr 3 years of Hard work is for this piece of paper. Hahaaa~

We finally graduated. Praise the Lord! They both are my best buddies through out this 3 years.

Month of June:

Emerge 2007:
for this year Emerge , i am more involve in the logistics aspect for Strikeforce performance.
this year is pretty spectacular. other than more exciting event and competitions , we have celebrities like Liu gen hong , Vivi and even Faye from F.I.R. in addition , Project superstars like Darren Tan and Diya came and sing and Tony Royster Jr the young famous drummer!

most of this singers and celebrity said the same thing to encourage the congregation, the same line that most of them say is :

"Do not care what other say or do, Never give up on your dreams"

even for last year taufik and Hong Jun Yang said that too!
They all started with a dream before they become who they are right now.

Singapore Drumfest 2007:

Never heard of this event right? haha, Next year will have another one again, So dont miss it!
This event is an event of all the famous drummer that you can name and know of come together and jamming!!! haha, Drummers like Jimmy Lee (Stefenie Sun 's drummer), Mohd Noor , Jojo meyer , Tony Royster Junior , Grant Collins ,Gordan Campbell etc!

i was trained C# programmer in school and expected to programme a business website using PHP. Got use to the "Drag-n-Drop" technology in Microsoft visual studio result in lack of knowledge to create website from scratch ( to create textbox or button by HTML or XHTML CODE only, not DRAG AND DROP). This is my mentally stretched

lack of exercise and lack of sleep result in weak health. physically stretched

i wacked the Apple mouse and my books and soft toys . i broke down couple of times due to the stress in Attachment.
facing temptation ( which i don't wish to elaborate) and trying hard to run away.
(because its not RIGHT TIME)
emotionally stretched

many times i depend my own , not on the Lord .
couple of times my time with You is compromised
spiritually stretched.

looking around among my peers, seem like i not the only one.
its a period where my faith is tested
where character is moulded
an iron ore going through fire furnace
to remove the impurities and become pure and strong iron

i not looking forward for the ending of the Attachment,
i'm yet maximise my purpose in marketplace.

basically , this few weeks i been busy with attachment in Apple and vivo gig. daytime at work , nite time at Boon's office for practice and rest of the time is visitation and other stuff. as of today , we left TEN days to the actual performance!!!!! OMG! we are fighting against flesh and blood , we fighting against time.

i was so blessed by the words that Pastor just preached last week:

Our faith appropriate His power to make things happen, how would God move with something that its of no work? work without faith is dead , faith without work is also dead, faith with work is life and power!

and end up making things tougher on everyone involved--including ourselves.

If that's been true of you, it's time you found out how you can put the
power of God to work for you the next time somebody does you wrong.

Step one: Identify the enemy! Right here's where the majority of us make
our biggest blunder. We mistakenly identify our enemy as the person who
hurts us. Don't waste your energy ranting and raving or plotting and
scheming against people who cause you pain. They're simply under the
devil's influence. Aim your spiritual ammunition at the right target. It's
the devil who's behind it all. Go after him!

Step two: Fire! Once you've pointed your spiritual guns in the right
direction, fire! Hit the devil fast and furiously with the Word of God. Use
the Name of Jesus and the power that's been given you as a believer and
bind the devil from doing you any further harm in that area. Then move on
to the next and most important part of this spiritual battle.

Step three: Pray the prayer of intercession. In Matthew 5:44-45, Jesus
gives us these instructions: "Love your enemies, bless them that curse you,
do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use
you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is
in heaven."

Crying out for the vengeance of God to strike like a lightning bolt when
somebody does us wrong isn't acting like our Father. Remember God has
great, great mercy. Not just for me and you, but for everyone!

The devil will probably think twice before he bothers you again. Next
time someone causes you pain, put the power of God to work for you.
Identify the real enemy. Hit him hard with the authority you've been given
as a believer.

you know , these phrase impacted me alot.
As a christian , there are times we come across people that are "unlovable" , " nerdy" or whatever that may leave us with a not-so-good impression of them. thus , we have a tendency to be less passionate towards them.

Especially for my dear friends who is serving in Cell group actively , no matter what kind of new soul that come to us , be it to be gangster , problematic or emotional... they are still the ones God want us to reach out to them. this is what i call Agape love , unconditional love.

if you are desire to be high above others, or to be a leader for the Lord but you tell God: "God, i want to be this-and-that leader , i want my members to be talented , i want to sit back and relax... etc" again , God is not going give you something as long as you are not willing accept the responsibility.

Divine Empowerment comes with acceptance of responsibility.
i can rephrase ...
Divine Empowerment comes when you are willing to take responsibilites.

lets put it to another example: there is a man who is not so talented in drumming , yet he willing to work hard and another man who is so talented but not willing to improve , so who is the one that the teacher will teach? the man who is not so talented. why? because of his willingness , his good attitude.

oh man! all thanks to some fellows in Indonesia who burn the woods for some of their business thingy,and now , its making the whole singapore so hazy and very hazy. i called the weather forecast to check the PSI for the Haze, it was only merely PSI 69, oh my goodness. i look outside at the haze condition and its more like PSI 120 to 150 loh! weather forecast so in accurate. my dad is having some sore throat and Jessie might have her asthma work-up again. we gonna be a passive smoker overnight!

stuck at home to rest for the past "fantastic" 4 days. when i come online , everybody ask me the same question. thanks for your concern friends, i will recover soon!!!

i almost lost my current job because of my injury, thank God i have a great boss who wants me to come back after i use up my one week hospitalisation leave.

if you ask me the injury still painful , sad to say , yes it is. I believe it will be recover soon. my next appointment will be 3 weeks from now, and for the next 3 weeks , i cannot take out the bandage! the doctor told me not to walk too much , dun stress my foot , if not i will take longer time to recover. i think this injury is gonna cost me a bomb,even though to the majority is small amount.

September is coming to an end, this year is gonna over soon. so fast!
so fast! Jesus is coming back , and i will be rapture! haha! what a confession.

let me tell you a story.
there was a young lady ,faithfully serving in a ministry one fine evening.
was trying to push away something to go to the toilet,
behold , a 30-50kg object falls.
the young lady manage to escape with a hairline fracture on her big toe and small fracture on her sole.
what a story.

nahx... you guys should know who is the young lady lah?
on friday nite, my parent bring me to CGH A&E. went for an X -Ray before seeing the doctor. waited for about 10 minutes, the X-Ray report is out. my mum was laughing about the report.

Mum: is that your foot? probably they gave you the wrong one? ( giggling)

Me: i was wondering the X-ray report is on a human foot or animal foot....

anyway, i still wanna thank God that for winning the favour and trust of my parents to go to church and cell group.
my members are very caring , they get me a wheelchair to let me have a better journey to the hall and taxi stand.
My feet couldnt walk for long as it might hurt the other part of my foot.
anyway , the doctor say i might not heal totally that fast , but i want to take out the bandage within 2 weeks.

i realized i not been updating my blog for quite some time.
anyway , to update you guys, i now currently working at Bangkok Bank at Cecil road in Tanjong Pagar region. basically , i work as a clerical support , assisting 10 account manager , one deputy head and a head of my department. been working there since 4 of september.
how's my work? hmmm... alright lah, just that some times will be a bit stress because of my deputy head. further more, because its a banking environment, and i am a IT undergraduate student , i find it hard to understand their terms and some accounts stuff. Anyway, i do felt i am not up to the job , probably because of my low self-confidence.but i wont dwell in where i am , because i not up to the job , i will do my very best in doing the things i know. Even simple task like checking the figures , formula to be in right one , no typo error, i will do my best that i know how. thus i wont bring trouble to my senior. concurrently , i seek God for His help to gain confidence in work and especially ... my primary ministry.

i got my results yesterday... my final and the last exams i had before graduation.

due to the IMF thingy at suntec, my bus 70 journey appear to be a much longer journey. i tot it would be less than hour ride but today i have a 2 hours ride , this is so lame.

Tonight was one of the best night i ever have with you guys , despite the aircon is really cold , we have bear till 10pm.

first i wanna say a big thanks to Brother boon , he has been an awesome leader , teacher and a spiritual father. precious lesson learnt from Brother Boon like faithfulness and initiatveness, humanity and passion. You are a great man that God really uses you to impact the marketplace. under your leadership , i not just become a better drummer , but a better member in the body of Christ. every speech that you speak us , i was can feel this tangible strong presense of God in the place. WOW....

Secondly , i wanna thank God for sister Jennifer. i would say you are the most approachable leader that i can talk to and even smile to you too! the times that you speak to us as strikeforce has always been a great spiritual impact in my life. really thanks for being a great sister to me.

thirdly , i wanna say a big thanks to someone that i not too sure is she is still in strikeforce, the person is none otherthan Jenny, My "first" contact head. she more than a leader , she is also my good friend. thanks for being there for me when i need someone. i really do miss you even i didnt say so. i really hope see you again in strikeforce one day.

next i wanna say thanks to my current contact head, Tanya Goh. Yeah despite the fact we hardly have a good fellowship together but i do enjoy the travel time back home together. i reallly hope to work with you more in future. :]

1 "Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, You who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate Than the children of the married woman," says the Lord. 2 "Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes. 3 For you shall expand to the right and to the left, And your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited."

i singing O barren again , to all my readers, i remember i wrote something similar last month or so. i was chatting with my darling Jaslyn Er Hui min(love ya! hope you read this!), my darling she has prosper alot in various ministry, a contact head in SF , a key helper in CG , school IC in SP. wow and backtrack one week ago , my Cg deardear Jenjen she was promoted to become Team IC in usher. i was so happy for all my girls, my greatest joy is to see my fellow sister-in-christ prosper! and i realize the breakthru they have , its my dreams to be and one thing for sure , i have to give up the dream as i was told to do so by the Lord.

i am not in my 100% potential, that's for sure. y? tell you later.Jaslyn testimony makes me think about Isaiah 54 :2-3, "Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes. 3 For you shall expand to the right and to the left, And your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited" i must get my capacity enlarged! and get out and stretch out of the comfort zone. Do not stop, keep on keeping! and God promises us that we can inherit the nations , as in we can take the nations by storm , turn the nations to God.

4 "Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; For you will forget the shame of your youth, And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore. 5 For your Maker is your husband, The Lord of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.

there is not shame in the kingdom of God, this phrase was said by my elder sister few years ago (really many donkey years ago). the Lord will never blame you for being barren. if i never experience barren , will i really pray intensively , ernestly crying out for revival? will it be opportunity for God's miracle to work on me? revival is birth forth in the trivial of soul , of a intense prayer. period of barren came before the breakthrough

Isaiah 54:6-10
6 For the Lord has called you Like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, Like a youthful wife when you were refused," Says your God. 7 "For a mere moment I have forsaken you, But with great mercies I will gather you. 8 With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you," Says the Lord, your Redeemer. 9 "For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; For as I have sworn That the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, So have I sworn That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you. 10 For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed," Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.

at many point in life , especially going thru the valley , i really felt i have been forsaken by Him(that's the most foolish thought i ever think! * hammer myself*), its when i did really something that let God down(the reason y i have not reach my 100%). i just cant help at that time to feel that way. Currently , i still restoring back what was lost.But the whole truth and nothing but the truth, God said in verse 10 : "For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed," Says the Lord, who has mercy on you. " * blown away* even the mountain shall depart and hills be removed , His kindness shall not depart from me ,nor His covenant of peace be removed.

11 "O you afflicted one, Tossed with tempest, and not comforted, Behold, I will lay your stones with colorful gems, And lay your foundations with sapphires. 12 I will make your pinnacles of rubies, Your gates of crystal, And all your walls of precious stones. 13 All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children. 14 In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you. 15 Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. IT IS FINISHED!!

finally major project is over. all the praise to the Lord to bring me thru this tough period. man... my supervisor told tat there will 2 lecturer during our evaluation. however, it is not true. instead of 2 , 5 came! finally my WSAD project and CMSK presentation is over. however , i was down with flu , fever and headache... i felt much better now , but stil few a little not good as i kinda hav giddy spell., yeah ytd was my darling Jasmine leow birthday , so sad i cant make it for her beach outing but we hav a meal after all :] right after , i went to FOP(festival of praise) for a great time of worship. cant wait for tmr man, it is our church 17th anniversary! thank God for his divine empowerment over pastor kong and the leaders in city harvest church! No God , No CHC. after svc , my plan is to fellowship with my cg and then go for STRIKEFORCE trainin, yeah! i always look forward for strikeforce traning even i went there just to teach drumming( helping bro luke to teach alpha sequence together.) i still enjoy the things i do in tis ministry despite my ka-kis are in NDP. seriously i do want to take part BUT BUT... when i was about to say yes, i dont really feel good in my spirit man, " kai li , there is something else I want you to do." thus says the STILL small voice." then i heed the word , and do ask i being told. my calling is to be a cell group leader. went thru alot of things over the years... being moulded in different areas... its a long story to share, and i have shared to my close ones and they are blessed. i do want to join the fun with my kakis in NDP however Dr A.R.Bernard once said this:

again i blog from school. its 645pm at my cold, terror dungeon of major project lab. i don't really wish to procrastinate over my school work.haix... i dont know what to do with my WSAD (WebServices Application Development)assignment, due in 3 days time, and i haven't even produce a single web method that is working. i realize alot of my friend complain about CMSK(ComMunication SKills)... nobody talks about WSAD, thus i'll be the first one.
i really very STRESS over my project( which is only the WSAD) i pray that God will impart the wisdom in order to do the project.
a good news to share .... my major project is almost "completed". my application is able to receive the sms and read sms!!! this thing i have never did b4 and yet i could able to do it within a semester.... Praise the Lord. trying to be positive and being motivated. i can't wait for this weekend, the celebration of my church 17th anniversary and festival of praise~

again my late night blogging.
before i chiong my project of my business elective, i realized i'm easily stress. i could vent my things to my buddy and my leader(OMG!) for no reason. i'm sorry guys... pls pardon me, cause i having PMS(what's tat? you dont know? ask a gal). i'm serious , due to my weird body condition ...

i foresee that the next one month i'll be stretch like never before. every week will have submission of the letter "P" , P for PROJECT.i realize every post will have one small little corner shouting and ranting and screaming on the letter, "P"!especially for my major project , i learning Visual Basic and i going bonkers soon with two programming language on hand. others learn over months and i pick up in a WEEK!!!! whatever it is...by the grace of God, this semester coming to end soon! bear with it , kai li , you can do it with God who are the Lord of possibles.

i have a dream , but this dream will be delay due to my calling. God is beautiful in His time, it tells me how impatient i am. by next year , i gonna buy a Drum Set!call me reckless or watever , i gonna do it! seriously , sometimes i feel intimidated to stand up among good drummers, just an area of low self-confidence. on the contrary , in cell group i dont felt this way as helper to my leader. some drummers i do really respect, some.. shall not comment further~ like what Taufik Batisah says in our Emerge conference :"people may critcise you , look down on you , dont care about them , run after your dream." haha, been blogging lately.
i am a postcard freak, i have a collection over 800 to 900 plus postcard.( really! i count!)
i use to write card to my frens in a regular basis but nowadays i get too busy, dun hav the time to write. yesterday i went to take some free postcard from TP design school , on my way back with my sick stomach , i take a look on the cool postcards i took .
SUDDENLY , i hear someone talking me, sound like God:

it took me nearly an hour to log in here.OMG
my semester coming to end soon with unfinished projects and presentations and reports coming up.

Despite most of the leaders are away for taiwan emerge last week, i stand in the gap for my leader.
i was praying, " Lord , i don't want the attendance drop , neither i wanna maintain the number in the cell group, i wanna GROW!"
true enough, it came to pass.(say WOW, say it backwards! lolx)
nah, one brand new friend for friendship connection, the friend is rather open to Gospel.(Thank God!)
as last week was a healing preacher , Rev Che An, the-one-or-two-weeks-giddy spell gone instantly right after the service!(all glory to Him, Amen!)
i can say it was the one of most stretched season i ever experience.

awww.... i rather getting low moral as the project going up to a tougher stage. my left ear is gonna rotten( to those who know, you would get the joke)

i couldnt believe what i just tell God about what i want! one of the conversation that i never forget.apparently , those who are under my discipleship and those who are on my "reaching out" list are good with at least one musical instrument.

its been more than a week since i last blog. haha, last weekend was an awesome experience in Emerge conference. evey year of Emerge will have mind-blowing thing happening. 'll elaborate more when the pictures uploaded in CHC webby :]

this week was a SSSTTREEETTTCCHHH week . term test with flu and on-off fever and cough. but i thank the Lord for strengthen me and divine guidance through out the whole test. once again , on my first paper , i sat at the wrong seat in the exam hall. how embarrassed. previous semester i went into the wrong hall but thank God not the wrong paper. haha.... my case is still fine , i have a fren who even FORGET to take his test. how pathetic.

a little rant of mine: a fren of mine tot that go clubbing is totally cool and hip and wat-so-ever. yeah it can be cool in my opinion but those clubber boast about it: " i club mah , i'm cool leh, people see me dance"... YOU are totally UNCOOL.
and you turn me off.
the humble does not tell anyone they're humble ,the proud does.
same for the cool does not tell anyone they're cool, the uncool does.
how sad the proud wouldnt know this.

Despite my busy schedules, meeting deadline this friday , rushing endless amount of report, studying endless amount of notes, doing multiples of follow-up, nevertheless, shall pens down something here for the thoughts manifested.

remember the story of Hannah?
The Lord close her womb , her rival also provoked her serverely , to make her miserable , because the Lord has close her womb. Year by Year, in verse 7 of 1 Samuel chapter 1 says , she was being provoked, went up to the house of the Lord, she wept and did not eat(i believe she is fasting).

in verse 10 , she was bitterness of soul ,and prayed to the Lord and wept in anguish. then she made a vow in next verse and said,

"then she made a vow: Oh, God-of-the-Angel-Armies, If you'll take a good, hard look at my pain, If you'll quit neglecting me and go into action for me By giving me a son, I'll give him completely, unreservedly to you. I'll set him apart for a life of holy discipline. " 1 sam 1:11(the message)

she sound so direct huh in this version of bible... anyway, she didnt stop here, she continued to pray. in verse 12 to 14, Eli thought she was drunk, she is not and she said:

"And Hannah answered and said, "No, my lord, I am a woman of sorrowful spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor intoxicating drink, but have poured out my soul before the Lord. Do not consider your maidservant a wicked woman, for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief I have spoken until now." Then Eli answered and said, "Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition which you have asked of Him." And she said, "Let your maidservant find favor in your sight." for Hannah was barren , she never allow her barren-ness to determine her destiny. what exactly is barren?

hear her instense prayer she make, the trivialing of her soul. how much she hunger for an offspring, how much she want to be found fruitful in God's sight. she make a vow and promise God that if God were to bless her (open up her womb actually) , she will offer her firstfruit( samuel).

situation seem unfavourable for you and i, are you gonna give up , or stay faithful ? fought so hard and no fruits produce and seeds remains, discourage??
whatever that comes out the mouth of God will not return to it void.
a mighty man may fall , but God will lift him up 7 times.

every revival is inside the spirit man, it bores out of pain , out of a woman's pain who give birth.

past one week was pretty busy for me, busy with school & cg ministry. for last monday & tuesday was quite an "eventful" day , i could have an auntie scrapping her stubborn dead skin under her feet in front of me in the bus.furthermore, that time i not even have my dinner. what a journey on the way home.but her doings brings me a revelation. a revelation of being repressive. how disastrous can repressive be? just like the dead skin under the feet, the more you dont bother to have regular and right cleansing agent , it wil accumulate more and have difficulty removing as result . when removing it , it is painful right? you just hope to leave it as it is. same for us , repress the things of the past disappointments and hurts , if it is not properly dealt with, it will leads to resentment( painful removing of dead skin) . use the right cleansing agent , Jesus christ. to lift up the repression to the Lord , you must :

PUSH : Pray Until Something Happen

i have come to the end of second week of my semester, this is a long, dead , super sian semester. doing my final year project for this semester, my group members are pretty ok, still can work with them , though most of frens was shock to see who i work with. (lolx) another 15- 17 weeks to go. oh my gosh!

my labour day rewards from my pals in church. ate at suki sushi buffet of hougang plaza outlet . on your left you can see is our soft , jellyish and fabulous , Mister chawamushi. oh my goodness , it melts in your mouth and left with the delicious essense of steam egg( in fact , it is steam egg)

on your right , you see colourful plates of sushi. we ate total of 20plus plates!!! i have a great appetite!

on your left once again , my all-time favourite salmon sushi!!! with lil' dipping of the light soya sause plus wasabi, it brings up the wonderful taste of this raw salmon.

i still sick as usual and it is few hours b4 N241 saturday CG. the night before i was sharing to someone about the oyster story by Ee Kai Li(hahaha!).

---> this is an oyster. i know it look delicious, lets go back to the main point. yeah , the parts of the oyster that we can eat is the meat inside (Definitely not the shell), the stuff that we can treasure is the pearl.

our life and our trinity being is just like this oyster. the shell as your body , what others see on the outside of you, the meat as the soul and the pearl as the spirit.

nobody will know whether the meat is still fresh until they open up and see. Some are rotten(yeeks!) , some are ready to be serve(yummy). those rotten one will produce pungent smell and thats y we find some people "stinks"!(agree?). same situation in ministry, position is just the shell . character , attitude and your relationship with God is being the meat and the pearl. we always hear this from pastor , "cornerstone of our character" , cornerSTONE = pearl.the pearl in the oyster takes time to produce,character that is the "hardest" part to master and it takes time to cultivate. what substain the VALUE of the oyster is the pearl,this true for us. the things that substain us is our character. i do met people carry the "shell" around, how pathetic.

After my last day of work (18 april)for CPF progress package customer service officer, i rush down to esplanade to me my poly gals plus my gang of girls. we meet pretty late at night at 8plus. we went to this tea-cake boutique call the V Tea Room .

these food we ate:

the actual size of this Delicious Smoked Salmon Omelette is about the size of your both hands . the salmon is taste like the sashimi which we can taste the inner most riches of salmon taste. for salmon lovers like me, this will make you feel high!~

oh man ,this is a feast for Vegetarian! there's not beef in it as you see the name of the dish. it is mixed with button mushroom , shitake mushroom and another i-dun-know-whats-the-name mushroom which is in the size of a women arm.

after tasting so many Delicious food, we have a chance to eat thier signature cookies. cookies have the flavour of rose , lavender.And usually all this smell is from outside in , now is inside out. we even taste LAKSA(?!?!) cookies, Hebi hian( shrimps) , vanilla pod cookies... too many bizarre cookies to mention.

a great thanks to mei mei for bringing us to this great place. the service there make you feel like a royalty plus the atmosphere is great.
