Healthy Foods That Will Make You Fat

I know i know , another long awaited blog updates.

I always been reading on the diet article and i would say HEALTHY Diet article ,whether i act out whatever it is stated in the article is another matter. oops! haha. I felt i should share to you guys about this articles about which i read it somewhere . haha . i'm sure some food you see in the list will shock you! hahaha.

1. Diet Soda
No soda of any kind is good for you, diet or not. Diet sodas create more insulin in your body which means more sugar. Diet soda also inhibits the hormone leptin which regulates your metabolism and appetite so you want to make sure you order your meals with water! That also helps you drink the correct amount of water per day.

2. Pretzels
Yes, pretzels. I know most people think that these are so much better for you than potato chips but they are made with enriched white flour which loaded with carbohydrates which as we all know we need to avoid as much as possible.

3. Fruit Juices
Having a refreshing glass of orange juice in the morning is a great start to the day right? Actually you are probably starting your day out horribly. Fruit juices have so much sugar in them and most of them are not actually fruit juices. Some only contain 5% natural fruit juice.Eat your fruits rather than drink the juice. (Citrus fruits contain a substance called D-Limonene which has been shown to promote the detoxification of estrogen.)

4. Complete Salad Kits
Most of these kits seem great for those who are too busy to cut up all the vegetables we like in a salad, however, most of the dressings can add on hundreds of calories and more fat than you want in a day. The light varieties are better.

5. Reduced-Fat Peanut Butter
Like a lot of the girls in the office, I also love my peanut butter. The reduced-fat variety seems like a great idea but the fact that what they remove is replaced with fillers and there is no calorie reduction with the fillers. Also the fat that is removed is the kind that is actually good for you. Yes, there is some good fat! If you just use a little less of the regular kind you’ll be a lot better off.


6. Poultry Hot Dogs
You would think hot dogs made with turkey or chicken would be so much better than the beef or pork dogs… WRONG! All hot dogs include skin and fat so you are not receiving any benefit from eating poultry dogs. If you are really looking for the better dog go for the low-fat or fat-free dogs, these may be a better alternative for your cookouts.

7. Cereal Bars
You can find a lot of cereal bars that are healthy, low-fat and are not loaded with calories, but you have to look. Most of the cereal bars at the grocery store are high in sugar and saturated fat. Make sure to read the labels for low fat, sugar and calorie content before you start your morning with an addition to your belly!

8. Frozen Yogurt
Most people hear the word yogurt and ask for seconds thinking that since it is yogurt it has to be good for you… WRONG! Most frozen yogurts have a lot of added sugar which means you're licking up extra calories. If you look for the low-fat frozen yogurt and go sparingly you can treat yourself every now and again.

9. Rice Cakes
So many people in my office say what a great filler-upper rice cakes are. Since they are low in fat you would think this would be a great thing to have. However, rice cakes can cause your blood sugar to spike and that can end up having your body store unwanted fat by slowing down the ability to burn it. Not only that but most people choose the flavored rice cakes which are loaded with sodium.

10. Granola
All those wonderful healthy things added together have to be good for you right? Well actually granola contains about 350 calories and 12 grams of fat per 3/4 cup. With all the sugar in it you can see how fattening it really is. Nowaday you can get the new low-fat or low-sugar granola that is not quite as bad to snack on.

Well I started school which is not something I look forward.
Sometimes i wish i could do something i like. Perhaps i got to treasure whatever i have now. ( Oh-so-brief this section)

Met all kinds of friends (all kinds of guys i mean) , some school mates and some old friends ! it takes up part of your time to hangout with them , but well , its worth the investment, it is for the Great Commission sake!

Nothing honourable to mention but i just got to make this next half of the year the best year yet!

Watching and reading the latest news of Sichuan Earthquake,

i saw disaster relief team are exhausted , emotional exhausted.

Many died , out of the many , majority are children.

Children , many dreams , vision and futures are CRUSHED by one disaster.

They still have a long road to go, till death , the child is still clutching a pen, holding on to their bright future ahead.

parents who adopted one-child policy , become childless.

The pain on the parents face , unbearable.

i began to lay my hands on the pictures i saw in the news.

Dear God,

May your mercy and grace abound in the land of China. Every single aids and relief , i pray will reach to every single chinese there. i pray for double portion of strength on the disaster relief team , and courage , not to give up in the search for victim under the rumbles. i pray for comfort of those who lost their family members.

Amen.

its been so long

Sorry guys for a long awaited post. Let me see when i last written...

OMG , Since last November 8!!! which is nearly 6 months!

November 8 2007 , someone turns "neetneves".

HA, enough of emo-ing at one corner.

After reading a post of my friend's blog , it trigger me to blog again. I have lost my motivation to blog for unknown reason , Blogger R&D is still researching for vaccine to revive a dry-up a.k.a lost-motivation-to-blog blogger and i need the vaccine badly *cough cough* (what i just wrote is crap).

I really don't like to blog about things like "today i do blah blah and the other day blah blah." No offences to those who blog that way .

Anyway, My dear friends, i am doing very fine . Just that i have been busy with my university life , not busy with love life! haha , disappointed?

Friends around me , getting attached one by one , times that spend together as friends is obviously lesser, travelling becomes more lonely because no more kaki-s. Nights are getting quieter as you have no one to talk to on the phone for long. (emo-ing)

"Ah Li arh , got boyfriend anot ar? " , its like i hear this every month from my mum, better than those who hear it everyday. hahahah!

I have friends who ALREADY married and have CHILDREN.And they are my age , reason why? Typical teenage problem , with counselling helplines provided , things remains unsolve. But i prayed their individual husband will take care of them with all their life man!

Will blog more next time. I am still looking for a temporary job which i can work until 30 June , got lobang , PLEASE call me. thank you!

Few days ago , i went out with two pretty ladies from strikeforce at town area to accomplish some mission (hee hee , NOT SHOPPING). we passed by this BIG tentage , outside wrote OMEGA , i think is some super "high class" watch event. Lo and behold i saw this BIG word outside the tentage:

I believe alot of us watched king kong before , King Kong always hold the lady Ann-watever in his hand.
Because of what King Kong done , Shu Ting decided to take something interesting. for instance:

Jasmine decided to take revenge,King Kong Jasmine blowing lady Kai Li off her hand. (i dun look like being blown away.LOL).

i have not been blogging for the past 6 months!!! that's freaking long! well, i was too busy with one event after another , until i have no time or too tired to blog.(or rather no motivation.)

after my birthday post , i seem to stop blogging. hahahaa.

Month of May:
i worked at City Development Limited as a Temp admin job with a pathetic salary. i ended the contract on mid.

Apart from the pathetic job, 23rd may is my Poly Graduation Day~
suffered and scrape through the tough 3 years in TP though is a stressful experience , i made alot alot of friends and enjoyed myself in this 3 years at the same time.This is my diploma certificate. All thr 3 years of Hard work is for this piece of paper. Hahaaa~

We finally graduated. Praise the Lord! They both are my best buddies through out this 3 years.


Month of June:

Emerge 2007:
for this year Emerge , i am more involve in the logistics aspect for Strikeforce performance.
this year is pretty spectacular. other than more exciting event and competitions , we have celebrities like Liu gen hong , Vivi and even Faye from F.I.R. in addition , Project superstars like Darren Tan and Diya came and sing and Tony Royster Jr the young famous drummer!

most of this singers and celebrity said the same thing to encourage the congregation, the same line that most of them say is :

"Do not care what other say or do, Never give up on your dreams"

even for last year taufik and Hong Jun Yang said that too!
They all started with a dream before they become who they are right now.


Singapore Drumfest 2007:

Never heard of this event right? haha, Next year will have another one again, So dont miss it!
This event is an event of all the famous drummer that you can name and know of come together and jamming!!! haha, Drummers like Jimmy Lee (Stefenie Sun 's drummer), Mohd Noor , Jojo meyer , Tony Royster Junior , Grant Collins ,Gordan Campbell etc!

i got a place in SIM RMIT. Start school in July. To my surprise , at least 6 to 7 current coursemates are from TP and same course as me!



As of today i studying for my final paper of my first semester. haha.

(sounds like someone? >.<) few major event happened for the past one month . first of course is my birthday , Easter , Benny Hinn crusade and and anymore??? haha Million thanks to the all my friends who make my birthday gathering a successful one!!! intially i thought of opening up a chalet but i am too busy to book the chalet and finance constraint.
